I have heard that the RS5000 actually works better as a steering stabilizer as the 7000 is under too much pressure. no actual experience tho but it made sense when I read about it.
I find that a 5000 works better on smaller tires (33ISH)and a 7000 shines on larger tires (35ISH). What can happen with a 7000 is that since it is a high pressure charged SS it can tend to "push" the wheel a bit (like all high pressure charged SS can do). For me on my heavy JK the 7000 works great with wheel shimmy and the like.
IMO, if your front end have no issues, there is no need to go with an expensive SS. You can go with a cheaper priced Monroe SS and get the same results. My cheap Procomp SS has served me well.
Hazmat?
Hadn't heard that one yet... 5000 should be a perfect fit.
