Talking Random question: Jeep Wheelie

Was sitting at the light the other day in my 04 Rubicon I was glaring off in the distance and when I came too I seen the light was green so I (shot) it the gas then all I knew was the front end went up and came down with a small thud. It came up at least 3 inches off the ground. Of course I thought it was pretty smooth but is that a sign of worn out shocks, springs? Lol. Note the left side rose up first. I dunno like I said random!

What size tires do you have? what gear ratio? Yeah a wheelie is possible being the jeep has a short wheelbase

@ solman I'm running 33's as for the gearing I'm unsure and TJ Q8 yeah this one does the same thing if I hammer down on it while turning.

Or if you are really stupid you can pull a reverse wheelie.
It helps if you have a V8 powered version though.

I could do it in my old 74 Renegade. Drop it in 4WL and pop the clutch in reverse.
It would easily lift the rear wheels off the ground.

Oh and the reason yours lifted more on the left is just simple torque in action.

lol I've never even thought of this. If you were a real jackass you could find some wheels and drag slicks/radials from a mustang and wheelie all the time I'd imagine

I'd just like to say, if someone would like to foot the bill for this, I'd be happy to be that very jackass

I remember about 3-4 buddies and I got a old willys jeep with a 4cyl to wheelie....it took an incline, some clutch popping, and 3 of us standing and bouncing on the rear bumper. (we were in the sand too)
