Random Questions and thoughts of my Jeep

Okey so lately Ive been curious to alot of things about my jeep... My old jeep was a 95 YJ with a 2.5L... and it had its own problems... I not to long ago upgraded so to speak to a 2002 Jeep TJ with a 4.0L... and it seems to be customized for off roading (hence the reason I wanted it) the guy I bought it from said the only work he did was to the rear axle in which he replaced it with a G2 axle and gears.. so my first gear is basically a crawl until I shift up to second.. so my question is... if anyone can tell me if this looks lifted? I see several other TJs on the road and they seem to sit lower to the ground... but on measurements from a 97 to my 2002... it only sits roughly 3 inches taller... (when I measured I went from the bottom of the flare and measured the tire) his jeep sat with a 27 inch tire vs mine with a 31 inch tire... meh but it doesnt seem to look like its all in the tire.... meh

Anyways also another question what... size tank is stock in the 2002 TJ? Im boggled by the fact that when I use 9 gal of gas the tank is almost hitting 1/4 of a tank! could it just be the float messing with my mind? lol

also to say I've removed the... ROAD tires.. and replaced them with my Couriaga MTs... which look awsome

19 gallon tank, also if you want more info on your TJ, you can contact Chrysler for a build sheet. That will give you all the info from the factory build!
Search "Build sheet" and you will find what I mean.
Good luck and nice TJ!

Welcome local Wisconsin black Jeep owner. I am pretty sure by 02 the 19 gallon tank was standard. As you will find, the tank goes down quick. Atleast in my 97 when the gas light comes on you have 4 gallons in the tank left. Looks like it might be lifted 2 inches seeing that it has a dropped transfer case.

I was wondering the 19 gal tank is what I was thinking but it shouldnt be at 1/4 of tank then by 9 gal being removed therefore I should still have 10? heh math.. meh!!!! lol, I would doubt someone would feel the need to change to a smaller tank specially in a jeep? I mean the tank looks right and it seems to be right specially with the rock plate there... meh...
