There was no stretching done at all? That is wild I never knew they made this if it is a model from the factory.

It's not stock. There's a company that will do that. I think they will make it two or three doors actually. And there's definitely some stretch there.

Yeah. They are awesome. The 3 door ones are literally like stretch limos. I think they give an option to put a V6 in it too.

You've seen TWO and I have never seen even one. Where are you located?
Ask them if they want to sell it?
Look at the door surround where it attaches to the rear door. That took some modification as well as the body and frame. The top must be custom made also.

I wonder why they would put a V6 in it? A V8, I could see.

Clearance issues maybe? Obviously V8's fit but you would think 2 less cylinders would be easier to cram in there.

Wouldn't mind getting one of those 3.5 ecoboosts in there personally. Lots of torque and still gets decent mileage. Not great by any means, but decent.

Anybody know the name of that company? That stretch, if the seats can be taken out easily, would fix my cargo problem. Those half doors on the rear look kinda funny though, but i like it with the full doors.

So you want to pull the AMC engine out of a Chrysler and put a Ford engine in it?

why not? i've seen people put in GM 5.3's, ford 5.0's, volkswagen deisels, hemi's. all kinds of stuff. I have an F-150 with that ecoboost, and i love it. Too bad the wife never lets me drive it

It's just a thought, it's really wide with the turbos and it wouldn't be any easier to transplant than a V8 anyway.

I guess i should say SHE has an F-150. lol. Jeep is a manual and I haven't had time yet to teach her how to drive it. Plus her commute is far longer than mine so she gets the better mileage vehicle.

I enjoy driving my TJ though so it doesn't matter. plus she doesn't have a convertible, I do

Thanks Patrick H.! Those were the exact pictures I remember seeing on the Internet. I was just too lazy to look them up on my phone.
