Rattlecan Camo job

Here are some pics of my Krylon camo paint job. Flairs/tub/bumpers/roll bar coated in Herculiner. It took 4 cans of primer, 4 cans camo tan, 2 cans camo brown, one black one white.

Thanks for the info, I had just seen the pattern and liked it. Far cry better than the turquoise. It's a whole new machine.

Is that a reservoir tank of some type or a tranny cooler in front of your grill?

looks better than 90% of the camo jobs you see around, seems like an odd placement for that reservoir to me, but whatever works i guess lol

There was a TJ for sale at the dealership down the street from me that was in the Realtree pattern that looked pretty cool. It sat there for about 2 months I guess before someone bought it. I'm considering olive drab rattlecan after the mechanical stuff is done.

I work with a guy who had an older Toyota with a vinyl camo wrap. It last about a year and a half before it started to noticeably fade. The greens and tans got hilariously brighter, but we're in the desert...with alot of sun. I would imagine it would last a little longer in Oregon.

I have seen quite a few wrap jobs here in SoCal. I have yet so see one that was perfect and they don't hold up well in the sun. My buddy does it all the time but its considered temporary and protects paint from rock chips. He has done one camo job....
