I am experiencing a clunk coming from the left rear wheel area when I make a left turn. It started only when accelerating moderately hard like when turning left to go up a hill but has quickly progressed into a more severe noise and clunk whenever turning left.
I've had a few friends look at it and I think we've ruled out a suspension problem, there doesn't appear to be anything loose or broken there..
I've also searched on a couple forums but can't find anything with my exact problem.
This one looks the most similar to what I have going on, but I haven't been able to take it apart to look inside yet and funds are short so I don't want to do anything until I'm relatively sure of what the problem is
Theres a couple other posts I've found that are similar but not exactly what is happening with my jeep

I've also read people have had similar problems and it was caused by their brakes sticking. I'm hesitant to check that myself to go check that myself because I live in a basement suite and have to park on the road. The last time I did a brake job on the side of the road one of my asshole neighbours called bylaw and they came and gave me a ticket.
Any insight would be awesome so when I get it to my buddies shop I at least have an idea of what needs to get done
