Rear axle brackets?

There's a guy on craigslist selling these for $50 and I was wondering if it is worth buying. He cut them off of a Dana 35 and it looks like everything is there but I'm not 100% sure. I was just wondering if these would be worth welding on to an 8.8 or not. Thanks in advance

Looks like everything is there. Most people are against it, but I used my dana 35 brackets on my 8.8...I do have intentions to box in some of the brackets to strengthen them. The down side is that they are thinner than kits you would buy. So its kind of up to you what you want to do. Personally, if I were to do it over again, Id pay to get a kit. With quite a few of the brackets, we had to grind at them to make them fit the diameter of the 8.8. New brackets can be bought that will fit right on the axle which will save some headaches.

After comparing my D35 bracket thickness to the Iron Rock Offroads I bought for my 8.8, no way!

Yeah I noticed that some kits were 3/16 and one I think was even 1/4. I just thought maybe if I picked them up that I could somehow strengthen them and save ~$150.
