Rear Bumper/Hitch

I am wondering about the rear bumpers with 2" receivers integrated. Most of them say not rated for towing. Does that mean I absolutely should not tow with it and will be in trouble? I have the opportunity to get one new really cheap and need to pick a trailer up in AZ in a couple weeks.(single axle flatbed 6x12) I know wranglers are rated for 2k and the unlt. models are rated for 3500lbs. I am just kinda seeing if ya'll have any expierence towing w/ bumpers like the one below.

Yea, I have towed with mine, the main difference is I have mine tied into the frame with two pieces of steel that bolt to the bumper and the frame rails. The bumper I have uses all 8 bolts, 4 on each side.
This is my XJ and I have towed the trailer size you are talking about with two rooms of living and dining room furniture on it. That one is a tomken and too has the tie in straps to the frame rails.

I've got a Besttop bumper. It has an integrated 2'' receiver. I bought it because it was rated, but I don't remember the specs. I tow a boat over 3000 lbs. Pulling is not the problem, stopping is. That is why the SWB's have a 2000 lbs limit while the XJ's are rated at 3500. Shorter wheel base makes it easier to jack knife. Just give your self room to stop and you'll be fine.
