Rear bumper question

Does anybody know where i could find a rear bumper with a swing out tire carrier that does not have the 2" hitch receiver? i already have a hitch and don't need another one, but do want a new bumper with tire swing. i haven't found one anywhere. thanks for any info

id try emailing someone from atoz, shrockworks, or another fab shop and see if they can make one without the receiver. but id make sure that an aftermarket bumper/tire carrier will fit with your hitch.

how will you mount a normal receiver with an after market rear tire-carrier bumper?

the hitch is already on my jeep. it is a better hitch than one that comes welded into a bumper so i don't want to take it off. i was just hoping to find a bumper without one. do you know where i could find it without the tire swing even?

IMO there´s one problem. all hitch receivers i know are installed in a way that a rear bumper like this one will not fit.

That bumper that nico put up will fit fine with a torch and a welder.

I said that for a J/k but if you look at that bumper it would be easy to cut out that welded in hitch tube and see how it fits with the reese type hitch then once you know how much clearance you have tack in a flat peice of steel bending and conforming it with a body hammer as you go.On second thought just blow the bottom section of the hitch tube itself with the torch.

Look at the OR Fab tire & 2 can carrier and you won't have to deal with the bumper at all. It sandwiches the tub, ties to frame and roll bar. Totally independent of the rear bumper.

The receivers built into the bumpers are higher than the ones that bolt under the bumper, I'm pulling mine off when I buy my tire carrier. It's the first thing that makes contact when I'm backing up, it's just to low.

I don't think anything your jeep is going to pull is going to brake the receiver off of the bumper.
