Yes a rubber bushing. I'd really like to see the same bumper but with some kind of spindle with bearings.

And yeah, matching my front bumper is why it caught my eye.

hhmm remove the bushing and add roller bearings?

I kinda like that bumper especially for that price. is 230 for both the bumper and the carrier?

Take the bearings apart if u have to and use just the rollers.. but if its for both thats a steal.

But the shaft sticking up out of the bumper for the carrier is a threaded stud, not a smooth shaft. Might have issues with the bearings on something like that.

hhmm i gotta look at few more pictures but from those too it seems like the bumper has a big ring and then the stud looking thing screw in through it into the bumper. The threaded part screws into the bumper and does not move.

I know its a link to the jeep forum but i rather not steal their pics
but yes as i guessed is exactly how it goes. The carrier has a smooth loop. The stud thing has a big end on top to hold the carrier in place and it goes through the loop on the carrier and screws into the bumper and does not rotate when you open the carrier. I assume the bumper and the stud make metal to metal contact? I cant see a bushing but i might be wrong.
