Anyone ever removed the rear glass from their hardtop?
I'm thinking about doing this because:
1. I'd like more airflow through the Jeep in the hot summer months,
and would rather not be blasting the AC all the time.
2. Don't have the option of going topless for the simple reason of not having anywhere
safe to store the top.
3. Even if I could go topless, I'd end up using a cover for shade anyway, so......ya know.
I didn't really look into it all that closely yet,
but by what I can see immediately, the rear window pisser seems to be the biggest problem.
It looks like the heating element wires will come off and can be tucked up, just as well as the wiper motor power being unclipped at the harness and doing the same thing.
I can't easily see what I can do with the pisser because it doesn't look like you can get in there to detach it, without taking the motor assembly apart.
Yeah, you could detach it from the other end in the cargo area and just pull it through the hard top, but you'd probabaly never get it threaded back through again.
