Rear lighting wiring

I've got to add a bulb to each of my rear lights. Does anyone know how to access the wiring harness? I took off the light housing and saw where the wires come into the light, but I need to run a couple of new wires and wanted to run them wear the factory wiring is. It's an 06 w/soft top if it matters.

Thanks
Charlie

- Bulbs to do/indicate what?
- What wattage (or led)?
- Independant power circuit or tap off an existing circuit/function?

The lights are LED. The jeep is going to be flat towed so the lights are going to be powered by the RV. The wiring for the LEDs is already put together but I can't find a good way to bring it up to the tail light.

The harness in my 1999 runs just inside the drivers door along the bottom inside corner of the tub. Once it clears the door frame towards the back, it goes up to under the lip of the tub (where the top attaches) on the drivers side. Don't know if it's the same for an '06. If you just want to get to the wires at the lights, look up from the bottom and you'll find a removable piece at the bottom of each rear corner of the tub
