Rear seat storage?

Any clever ideas to store the rear seat? Our garage is pretty tight, I do have wall space to hang I can hang it on ......
...... It's just us and the dog, and she prefers the seat be out.
Thanks
Rick

Sell it for Mod Money? I have the same problem. Once I put in a storage box in it's place I probably won't feel like I need to hang on to it. Wonder what they are going for on craigslist.....

I took mine out about 2 weeks ago and it's still sitting in the family room. I don't want to store it in the garage or shed because I live in the country and have found rodents in upholstered items left outside before, so it'll probably get moved to a back bedroom or maybe stuffed into a closet.

Hmmm, guess it could make for an interesting "Love Seat" in the basement TV Room. Got me thinking now.

As heavy as that seat is, I don't think it would be easy to put on a wall

If you can hang full doors on the wall I'm sure you can hang the back seat...

I took mine out in July and haven't needed it since. I put it back in 2 weeks ago just cause.

I pulled the rear set out of my wife's Jeep and wrapped it in a couple garbage bags and they tied it up with some string and put it in the rafters of the garage. Yea it's heavy but once you get one end up, the rest is easy. 6' step ladder helps.

'04 TJ rear seat came out six months after I got the Jeep new in '04...recently divorced at the time so it was my "extra" seating in the living room......only time it was in the TJ until last spring was when I moved.....the last time I moved I put it on a shelf in the garage inside of garbage bags...it sat there for a couple years and finally gave it to a guy at work who needed a back seat for his TJ and their new baby....last spring. It seems that you either need a backseat or you pretty much never do...IMO

I had enough room to stand my back seat on end (folded up) in the laundry room, between the dryer and the wall.

I use my seat but my brother in college uses his back seat as a sofa in his dorm room

I have a wire shelf in my garage with all of my camping equipment, etc, similar to this:

One shelf is dedicated to my back seat.

As rarely as I use mine it is nice to have. It also makes a great seat when camping!

I just built a shelf high on the wall in my garage out of a few 2x4's and a piece of plywood to store the seat and soft top bag on.

yep just stick it in a garbage bag, tie the bag off, and place it on the top shelf, its super light weight so you have lots of ways to store it, just keep it dry. my rear seat was out of my TJ 14 nanoseconds after I pulled the Jeep into my garage after buying it and has not been re-installed since.........that's Big Fat Lab territory back there.
