Rear Stretch

What the Gen Right stretch looks like. Advertised as 5" stretch, I got about 4.5 " out of it. I had this done by the 4x4 Outpost in Moab. Seems like they did an excellent job. So far it seems to hop up those Moab ledges better. I only winched once in Pritchett Canyon, and in retrospect, I probably wouldn't have had to. I'm happy with it.

I'm jealous! I want to stretch my TJ but for right now it's a mod that's outside of my budget Looks really clean to by the way, I bet the average person wouldn't even know the difference unless you were parked right next to a stocker. waht did the kit cost, and how much was the install if you don't mind posting?

I stretched mine a total of about 10" combined front and rear. I works good for me.

I had to put my fuel tank in the cargo area.

How did you do this if you dont mind me asking? A fuel cell? I've been looking into doing this to stretch my rear axle.

Part of the Gen Right kit is that they supply a new fuel tank and tank skid, that's shorter from front to back, still fits underneath the tub. Look on their web site and you can see just what it is and what it costs. It seems to be a well made tank and skid. Also it doesn't get hammered on quite as much as the stock tank, it's in a more protected position. Overall wheelbase now is 98.5 inches, up from 94".
