Rear window zipper question on 05 Unlimited

The weather in VA has been so damn hot the last few weeks it is painful to drive the jeep. I figured if I removed the rear window all together it would help move some air through the cab. I went to remove it last night and it can not be done, there is no end stop anywhere along the zipper. The best I can do is slide the two zippers all the way to the middle on the top. Is this correct? Am I missing something? If I rool the rear window up the two loops that would hold the window up are realy stretched badly and the window will only be open about 35%.

What am I doing wrong fellows?

I'm confused. You can't remove the rear window all the way? I have converted to a frameless but if memory serves you need to unzip all the way left (drivers side).

So you are saying take the right hand zipper (pass. side) and run it all the way around to the driver side and the window should come out? If you are correct Sir I will nominate you for Saint Hood

Correct you need to pull both zippers to the bottom left - they will slide out and the window will be free.

The above info is correct, both sliders need to go to the left and the male tab on the window pulls out through both sliders.

I'm stoked. I don't get to be right very often. Did it work for you?

Soapy water sprayed on the zipper makes it work real easy
