Recall Problems

So today I took my wrangler to the stearlership to get a 2006 recall on the cat converter and reprogram of the PCM and they told me that they could not get a signal to my computer. I have no check engine light. What could cause this ?

Well the tech kept asking me how long ago I bought the vehicle, from a dealer or private owner, did it roll? I think they just didnt want to work on it because of the damage on the right side by the ECU. Trust me the harness is completely hooked up everywhere. I took a diagram of the harness and traced everything.

On many vehicles i've worked on the dlc and the lighter fuse are the same. Any way it goes the dlc should be fused, I would think the "tech" would have checked this but doesn't hurt to ask them.

Chrysler service dept in my experience sucks. They told me I had a cracked header on my last tj. I took it to a local trusted shop they told me they have had six vehicles in the past week from there. And no I did not have a cracked header

A bad ECU will not set off a code to light up the CEL. Dealership = Stealership.
