Recommend Tires?

Can anyone give me a good recommendation on tires that i can take on all terrains for a price range of like 150-$195 a tire. I have a '93 wrangler NOT LIFTED on STOCK shocks but I'd like to get the larger tires than what I have now. I was thinking 31s or 32s if I can fit those with a 10 inch width. Any suggestions?

On the YJ in the photo? I'm not sure about what size those are. It's my girlfriends mothers Jeep. I want to say somewhere around 30-31. The red one on the left (mine) and the blue one on the right (girlfriends dad) are running 33's.

I'll have to take a look, we have a ride scheduled this weekend so I should be able to check Saturday.

Walmart sells the Goodyear Authority tire that I had been running for the past 40 thousand miles before I went to 35's. I got them because they were cheap even though I heard they were noisy. Yes, they were noisy but I was surprised at how well they grabbed on the rocky AZ trails and how well they wore on pavement, probably another 30-40k left on them. I just checked and the online price right now is $133. I highly recommend them.

I had bfg ta's before the goodyears, which have already lasted twice as long. They grip better on rocks, I would go over obsticles more easoly too. I'm not trying to steer anyone on the wrong direction, just saying based on my experience between the two, I would buy the goodyear again.

Funny though, how many more people take the time to write a bad review than a good one. Its because no one feels the the need to vent when they're satisfied

Take a look at the General Grabber AT2. They wear well, and aren't too noisy for an aggressive A/T. FWIW, the tread is similar to the BFG T/A but the price point is better.

31X10.5X15'as are about as big as you can go without a lift. 32's will fit, but rub.

I like the Cooper AT'3's. I have them on my 4X4 Tacoma and they perform as good as tires costing 2X as much. Will put the same tire on my JK when it needs tires.

Don't let the tread fool you. It is more aggressive than it appears in the photo. A true mud tire will get you out of a few more sticky spots, but most of the time you have to drive out of the way to find a spot bad enough for these to not work.

Cooper runs a rebate about twice a year. I got $85 back on the set I bought in November. Brought the price under $500 for 4 tires mounted and out the door.
