Recommended HID kit for my 03?

Well after weeks of searching, I thought I'd see what a forum can do for me.

I just recently acquired a 2003 Jeep Wrangler X. A few after market bells and whistles. I'm upgrading all the lights asap. I bought LED's to change the interior lighting.

Now for the head lights. I'm not the smartest car guy.

I just want a good priced conversion kit to keep my high and low beams, a bypass to keep all my internal safety lights working and also a pair of lower power HIDs for my fog lights. I know I want 6000k.

Any suggestions on what to get and where?

Thanks in advance!

G

Don't get any "slim ballast" kits for $35, those will break. A good priced site is ultrabrightlights.com, they pretty much have every bulb size. Also, 6000K is the whitest you can go. I prefer 8000K, but it's got a slight blue hue to it.

Go to this site, xenonsupply.com. They have a few DIY video's on YouTube and the kits aren't made in china. That's what I have on my headlights and fog lights. If you do decide to buy from them, you can use this coupon "youtube11" type it in the apply coupon and get a discount. Hope this helps..

H.I.D.s on my TJ = WOW! - JeepForum.com The favored combination are DDM HI/LO and Hella e-code lenses. I have had mine for going on 3 years. I have the 55w 6k Raptors. Delivered cost is a round 150 for HIDs and lenses.

I used rampage housings from Amazon, and hids r us hid kit. Went together and works flawlessly. I have four other hid kits from the same company on the rest of my vehicles, the oldest kit going on four yrs with no problems whatsoever.
