Reinstalling the hardtop

So unfortunately it is already that time to put my hardtop back on. Earlier this summer I purchased the Bestop bikini, duster, and windjammer combo. The bikini top uses the drill-in style header. I was wondering if it is necessary to remove the header in order to secure the clamps on the front of the hardtop. Would I also need to remove the retaining clips that the bar for the duster is attached to? Thanks.

Not exactly lol. So Cal to be specific. I'm back in school, and my school is not in one of the safest areas.

Not sure how your bikini hooks up, but my header on my bikini has to be removed to put my hardtop back on. The hardtop seals to that same ridge the bikini header is attached too. Mine does bolt on though to the clamp locations. Not sure exactly how the drill in mounts up there. Would be nice to just leave the bikini on under the hard top though :P

I'm thinking mine may have to as well. Was just trying to avoid it so that the holes don't get screwed up from having to remove and reinstall the screws for future years to come.

Without seeing a pic of it I am 99% sure you will have to remove it.
