Question remove doors

When i remove the doors from the jeep, the lights inside the jeep stay on. How do I keep them off when the doors have been removed? Is there a switch or should I just remove the fuse?

There's a fuse behind the glove box you can pull - on mine it's the one way on the bottom right. It's labeled "Door switch defeat"

i did that, but mine still liked to buzz, so you can pull the little plunger switch thingy(and yes that's the technical term for it) out and unplug and then put the switch back in. that'll take care of it too.

You can also get this thing from Quadratec. It's like a spring that keeps the dome light switch pushed in, just like if the doors were installed. Here is the link:

The only draw back to pulling the # 4 fuse, is that it is also the fuse that let's you know when you leave your headlights on....I drain my battery 2-3 times a summer
