Removing grill

I was trying yesterday to remove my grill to insert the wire mesh bhind it like mentioned in the JK thread. I got all the bolts off and the radiator removed but I still have a problem. There are AC lines the run through the panel right in front of the raditor. I can not remove the grill because of these lines. I also can't remove the panel. Any ideas.

So if you have the shroud off and the radiator out, why can't you just do your cool guy mesh inserts with the grill still in the rig? Should be plenty of room. If not just pop the fan off also.

I can't get to the inside of the grill because of the panel that the AC lines run through.

unbolt the shroud, unbolt and remove the radiator, unbolt the a/c condensor but do NOT undo any of the hoses on the condensor, tilt the "driver-side" of the condensor towards the motor just enough so that you can get whatever you need through. thats what I did to install my electric fan (click for picture) which was about 4" thick
