RENEGADE Fenders

Will RENEGADE fenders fit on a TJ?

Anybody have a link for OEM replacements or aftermarket?

I'm guessing that they would probably fit... But, as you may have gathered by now, that isn't such a popular choice in the Wrangler world (or at least this corner of it). Plus, if you wheel it at all, you will probably end up ripping them off on either your tire or a tree.

However, it is your Jeep and everyone has their own things they like. Just get ready for a lot of Lorenzo Lamas jokes if you do

What's with the RENEGADE hate on all the Jeep forums?

Jeep made a bizillion RENEGADES; somebody had to buy them. Or maybe they're all parked next the the ark of the covenant in that warehouse from the Indiana Jones movies.

Before there was a YJ RENEGADE, there was a CJ RENEGADE. Anybody know what differentiated the CY RENEGADES from the rest of the pack?

The CJ Renegades were cool. They didn't have Fast And The Furious body panels like the YJ Renegades.

Now that right there is funny!

If you want something for the street, I guess it's your Jeep, but as mentioned, the panels will not fair well on the trails. Ya gonna lower it and throw some rims on it?

I don't hate the renegade really, it just isn't my thing... too "panel-ish". If I had those panels on my Jeep the last 2 weekends while wheeling, they would have either been severely damaged, or torn off entirely from trees, creekbeds, hillsides etc...

That, and I just really, really hated that damn show

I'm planning a 6" drop, 13"x 40s for the rims/tires & some fringe-balls to go around the windows. I'm also trying to find a 12" chrome chain steering wheel that'll fit. Oh yea, gotta get some hot-rod flames too!

Putting RENEGADE flares on a YJ doesn't make it a "fake RENEGADE," it makes it a YJ with flair! That's like saying putting round headlights on a YJ makes it a fake CJ/TJ.

For all the people that think you can't wheel with a Renegade, mine does just fine off road, never damaged the fenders, they are just as capable as any other Wrangler. I can understand that they aren't to everyones taste, but I don't get the bashing of them.
