It should be fine no matter how it rolls up during the pull. Just take time to respool it later.

My only concern is...that I can't get it in the color that coordinates with my TJ, like Summer Yellow!

There's a stump under the rocks; they were just there to keep the line from shifting until i got it under load. The bigger issue was my synthetic line routed over the knife edge rock infront of me, but i was permanently affixed to the driver's seat at the time and couldn't see the line routing.

So today is the first time I used my line so its been wound for a month or so.When I wound it I did it under the weight of the vehicle,as I attached the end to a tree then used it to pull the jeep up my driveway which has a uphill grade.I used it today for the first time & got home.I unwound the rope, since Im trying to figure why my wonderful Warn wont freespool and my rope is smooshed. Its not all nice & roundlike it was when new, kind of flattened .Did I do Something wrong?I hope not,I did it like Viking suggested.

Resurecting old threads is great isn't it! This is a pretty fair thread so why not

I had the same experience with my Milemarker winch/synthetic rope. I pulled about 500' of chain link fence (about 50+ pulls, light load) as well as a few recovery pulls here on the ranch. I used a tree strap facing up hill and let the weight of the CJ5 pull the rope. Synthetic is much more pliable than steel rope as well so you will deal with rope "packing in" a bit more.

All in all I am more than happy with mine, although I wish I had gone Blue rather than grey

Yellow Rope

I ordered the rope in the color yellow for my new Zeon winch. My jeep is also yellow in color, Jerry helped me with the in cab controls, and now I am waiting to get my line back from viking, I sent it down there to have my thimble installed. I do not know how to splice winch line yet.so I thought it best be left to the Pros....

Can anyone tell me about putting the new seals on my hardtop? The corner seals don't fit quite right. Do I trim those? Also, what kind of adhesive should I use? Thanks

Lay the yellow winch line around the base of your hardtop and screw the top down. Shove a little extra in the corners.
