replacement seats??

Does anyone know of what front bucket seats i can replace mine with in a 97 sport.

i got a pretty big dog, and she needs a seat with a longer cushion so her front paws don't fall off the front of the seat. i'm not looking to buy anything new or custom, those are too expensive.

I'm just looking to see if anyone knows if which volvo, toyota, dodge, etc... bucket seats from a junkyard will fit into the jeep the easiest. any ideas???

Chevy cavalear (spelling) seatd work well. So do Ford ranger 60/40 bench seats. Your going to have to fab up brackets with whatever seats you get so just take Rover to the junk yard and have him sit on the seats and tell you what ones would work the best.

Im not sure that any other seats will be that much bigger to give the dog enough room to make an actual difference. I say just pull the rear seat and let her hangout back there. Theres plenty of room.

She's a bit spoiled, she wouldn't be able to handle riding in the backseat. She's been a shotgun pup her whole life. She crys and wines if she isn't strapped in upfront riding shotgun.

i know i'll have to do some fab work, i'm just trying to minimize it. i don't want to weld up brackets to make the seats stationary. i would still like to have the ability to slide the seat foward and backwards on the track.

My dog is hot and cold. Either she's up and in the Jeep and straight into the back, or she's spreading her paws across the gap between the seats so that nothing... NOTHING... can get her into that back seat.

Mine is the same way. It is a royal pain and struggle to get her into the backseat, and it's no fun listening to her whine the whole time.

Problem i'm having now, is everything around me is a "salvage yard." they won't let you walk around the yard to see what they've got. you have to tell them what you want, they'll pull the part and you have to buy it. the nearest self pull apart is about an hour away on buford highway, so i can't really test out a bunch of seats to figure out the best one to replace hers with.
