Replacement shock question...

What do you guys suggest for a stock height replacement shock?
Skyjacker Skyjacker Suspension H7015R - Skyjacker Hydro Front Shock Absorber for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited with 0" Lift and 99-04 Jeep® Grand Cherokee WJ with 0" Lift - Quadratec
OME Old Man Emu N66C - Old Man Emu Nitrocharger Front Shock Absorber for 97-06 Jeep&#174 Wrangler TJ & Wrangler Unlimited - Quadratec

Basically my factory shocks have just about had it. looking for a good replacement, but want to keep my stock ride height for now. i hear nothing but great things about OME. i found the skyjacker shocks on the same sight for less than half the cost of an OME. are the skyjackers junk? or are they half way descent? should i bite the bullet and just go with OME? decisions decisions...

OME shocks

License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote.

OME or Bilstein 5100.

Shocks are just about the biggest factor in ride quality, I wouldn't cheap out.

I went from Procomps to Bilstien 5100's. The difference is night and day, shocks have the single biggest impact on ride quality that I have found. Get good shocks and be done with it. Plus Bilstien has a lifetime warranty!!
Violence may not be the answer but it sure cuts down on the stupid questions
