Replacement Soft Top Reviews...

I have a 97 Sport in Green. What top should I get? Bestop, RR, Smittybuilt, Pavement Ends? It's not my daily driver but I don't want to waste money on a budget top and end up replacing it anyway. I know you get what you pay for and I'm leaning Bestop. Which bestop is the best? Replace a top? Supertop? NX? Black Diamond or Black Denium? Should I replace the hardware? Thanks to anybody who has a top to review!

My TJ had a stock soft top on it when I bought it. I replaced it with a Rampage frameless top and I love it.
It has a fastback look, there is a built in storage bag for the windows when you remove them, the safari top is very nice when the windows are removed. The windows are tinted, bigger than the stock windows and pretty easy to remove.
The one I got is sail cloth and it is quieter than the stock top. The entire top can be removed and put into the storage back... with no frame work to deal with. It's compact enough that you can store it in the back of a closet during the winter if you run a hard top.

This is what it looks like.

without windows

My favorite thing is the storage bag. I can pull the windows out and safely store them away no matter where I am, and if the weather turns I will have them with me if I need them.

If you do go with the Rampage frameless you will need the soft top door surrounds, a windshield header bar and a tailgate bar.
I already had the door surrounds as I had a soft top. The top (in sailcloth), header and tailgate bar ran me $425.
