replacement soft top- smittybilt vs. rampage?

hi- need to replace my soft top but don't want to spend 450+ for bestop. Does anybody have experience with smittybilt or rampage? Another brand I have seen is Sierra Offroad? Thanks!

Have experience with smitybilt & pavement ends. you're better off slitting your wrists than going through that hassle. Also I have a buddy SShunter who is on here who has the Rampage Frameless, looks awesome, but its the tie down straps on the inside have started to dry rot, where as you think it would be reverse with the ones on the outside. All in all hold out as long as you can for that Best Top ! Probably not what you want to hear, but you will have money in the long run for those parts you want rather than replacing your rampage or smitybilt soft top.

I recently replaced my soft top with a Smitybilt. I must commend them on everything. I originally bought a soft top on ebay, it was a smitybilt, about a year later the rear zipper was done and the threads pulled out. well I installed snaps to get through. This year, 2yrs after purchase, it is butt cold in ohio, I called and smitybilt has a 2 year warranty. to sum it up, I emailed them pictures and a copy of my receipt and they two day aired my new soft top to me at no cost. So I will say their customer service is wonderful.

Since your considering a Rampage which is frameless you should check out the American made Softtopper.

X2. Softopper is a very affordable, very well made (in the US) frameless top.
