Wink Replacement top?

Okay yall,

So this is my first summer as a Wrangler owner, I bought my 99' TJ in Sept. last year. I knew then that I was going to need a new soft top, it's actually not in that bad of shape (a few torn seams etc) and the hardwear is all great. But it is the original. I've looked at Quadratec and am looking at the "Replace-a-top" there made by Bestop, for about $530 plus $60 in shipping. Is that my best bet? Have you all had luck with those? I've seen Wranglers around with tops that look kinda "loose" and I just want to make sure I'm getting a quality top that fits well, for a fair price.

Thanks! ~ Michelle

There is a Quadratec Rep (Joe i believe) on this site, if you order throught him you get discounted or free shipping. I have ordered from him before and he is awesome. Shipped quick too.

Also someone on here just put a Smitty built replace a top on their Jeep. They are around 249 but I have no Idea of their quality.

Ya i just bought a new Smitty build top on it fits really well, the only gripe I have is the front channel bar the fabric is a little loose. but for the price and since I have a hard top fro winter plus it has tinted windows I am very very happy. It cam with door uppers wich I did not need, I have full steel doors. Here are some pics of it installed. Best top is prolly the best tho. I just couldn't afford it.

i got a pavement ends from quadratech not bad for the $ . johnboy make sure you have the top around header channel correctly . if i remember it wraps around about a full wrap and a half on header channel . and the !st time you put the top up it will be tight but it will stretch , if this helps .
