I just got a replacement set of windows for my 2006 Rubicon and they don't fit, was hoping someone might be able to help me figure out what I'm looking at wrong.
I bought the Jeep in 2009 with what I assumed was the original top and windows. I bought the replacement set of windows from Bestop, and the box claimed it was the right model (58128-35). When I tried to put the new windows in I found the back panel is about 2.5 inches shorter than the old one. The side panels are the correct size however on the old panels the zipper was located on the panel, whereas the new one doesn't have a zipper indicating it should be on the tread thats attached to the soft top. While it doesn't directly affect the installation I also noted the new side panels have the diagonal line through them where my old ones didn't, and the upper-back corner of the side panels are rounded down lower than the old ones are. The panels themselves have no tags verifying their model numbers.
So, did Bestop put the wrong panels in my box, or was my Jeep using a non-standard soft top, or something else?
Thanks for the help.
