The only picture I saw was a cut up stock bumper.

There's a part number on this thread. I used it and got them for 3.50 each.

What you need are the end caps for an '06. They are less than $8 a pair from most dealers. If you can't find them, let me know and I'll get you a pair and send them to you.... You really shouldn't even need the part #.... They are plastic, fwiw...

Those must have been the gold plated ones.
The caps didn't show up here until the 2006 "X" came out. They are plastic and I used the screws from the "milk jugs" to install mine. Guess you could also used the plastic "push in" type fasteners. Then there's always J-D Weld, gotta love that stuff, but I wouldn't use it there.

Called the local jeep dealer to see if they had any of these in stock or if they could order them. I gave them the part # and they said that they didn't have them. They also said that they couldn't order them because they weren't showing up in the warehouse. I'm gonna try the jeep dealer in the country and the one across the river and see what they say. It makes no sense that everyone else can get them but these guys can't.

I had my dealer order them. You're probably dealing with incompetence.. Try another dealer or buy them online.

Ask them to look up the bumper end caps for a 2006 Jeep Wrangler "X". They have to have that in their listings. The "X" had no jugs, just the caps.

Send a message via AIM to kpool
I cut the ends off at 30 degrees. Then cut and welded some plates to cover the end.

Order two of each item above.
Will these fit a '97 as well?

My dealer wants $12 x 2 and $5 x 2. Too much?

I bought mine off Amazon. PO had removed the milk jugs, but it wouldn't pass the yearly safety inspection here without, so I picked up the flat ones.

I think I paid somewhere around $30 for all four.

I took off the milk jugs and put these on, more expensive then the flat ones, but i like the way look more than the flat ones.

Looks like they don't sell them anymore....But you can find them other places via Google.

I got the front 2 off ebay for $15 shipped. The dealership here quoted me $70 a piece. I don't know what he looked up because when I called back with the part number, they quoted me $10 a piece.

You should probably mount the new fogs where the old ones were. If you want to add lights, take a look at the KC hoop.

KC HiLiTES 7400 - KC HiLiTES Bumper Hoop Bar with 2 Light Mounts for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

I think there is a 3 tab (light) one also.
