Replacing rubber on hood latches

Was wondering how to replace the rubber on my TJ hood latches. Do the cap looking things just pop off to reveal screws? I didn't want to put to much force on them and have them break if they aren't caps. Thank you.

so..... how do you get the rubber out of there? Do the caps just pop off and then you see the screws or?

They do pop out, when I replaced mine, one came apart with out breaking but the other broke into several pieces.
