I have polished aluminum wheels,
and Mothers Aluminum Polish with a Powerball has always worked great for me.

Mothers works best! I use an old rag to apply and work the nastiness off, then a microfiber rag to finnish. It seems to work pretty well.

Lane's New Aluminum first then polish up with Meguiars motorcycle metal polish.
Lanes is a mild acid that will eat off the oxidized aluminum. Follow the directions closely, do one wheel at at time and don't leave on more than 30 seconds. Do more applications if needed. A little goes a long way. Once cleaned with Lanes, polish with Meguires.
I order Lanes products online and get Meguiars at Walmart.

Now.... Keep a nice coat of wax on them, don't use anything stronger than car wash soap to clean them, and they will stay beautiful longer... Oh, and polish them once in a while too
