They make brake lights that fit in the empty lug spots of spare tires. It wouldn't be too hard to get them in white and wire them up to the reverse lights.

I got a cheap set of fog lights from Wmart and used just one in the center of my rear bumper.

Just bought a True Hi9 rear and a D44 front, both with ARB's and 4.88 gears!! Check out the build!

Here you go. I can't weld, so I spent $20 bucks in material, and bought beer and pizza for my bud who can weld. We extended the support for the spare tire and put a "shelf" on it. There I mounted two back up lights. They are switched and run to the reverse light as well.

There is space between the top of the tire and the light shelf, as that was intentional. The YJ will be going to 33's and then the space will disappear.

Those are some high reverse lights. People are going to know when your backing up. Why didn't you place them under the tire on the tire carrier arm. Looks like you got the space for them. Though the way you have it, it would be a neat idea to run a switch for them so you can use the light for setting up camp or seeing into a trailer.

Thought about putting them below, but when we mocked it up with a 33" that space disappeared quickly. The lights are hinged so I can pretty much put light where I want it. You are correct, the swing out gives me a great opportunity to use them as a work light.
