Reviving sunfaded side steps

i bought a pair of side steps from ebay for my jeep. granted they werent pristine, they are dirty and the brackets had some rust and the plastic was a nice sunfaded one color similar to most fender flares. so i washed them and dried them and sprayed them with Rustoleum clear urethane and they look damn nice now. makes my flares look like they need to be done now
