99 tj 4.0 - after a wreck i replaced the intake manifold, gasket, fuel pump and radiator. Now it fires up but revvs all the way up. All vac hoses are where they were as well as electrical connections and injector positions. Am i missing something? Am i chasing something else that got damaged but i just cant see it? Everything i think i know points to vacuum but everything looks ok on the surface. Any help would go far to help a stranded jeeper with a hurricane hitting tonight.

The intake manifold is leaking air into the engine because it was not properly positioned on the head. There are two small short positioning studs on the head the intake has to be properly positioned over before it will seat properly. When it leaks air from there it is like you are holding the throttle valve plate wide open. Do NOT simply try to tighten the bolts more. :)
