I drove my jeep home from work tonight in 4wd hi and I noticed that it drove like stock again!! It usually has a little play in the wheel and a little vibration in 2nd gear. Neither are very bad but noticeable. Tonight it drove great!! I even put it back in 2wd to make sure I wasn't crazy!! It was like flipping a switch when I switched from 2wd to 4wd. I can understand the steering thing being better with the front wheels engaged, but I don't understand losing the vibration!?! Anyone have any ideas??
I think driving in 4-wheel is bad on pavement, but I'm 17 with little experience. Although one day my dad did steal my jeep and to go to work, and engaged 4H without looking thinking it was the handbrake, and proceeded to drive it around all day like that without noticing the 4x4 light. Hasn't caused any problems to my knowledge.
its not good for teh T case to do that, but i ahve no idea why it feels better
