Right Side Up...Or Up Side Down?

Hey all.

As you know,
a while back I did another 3rd Brake Light Mod using an Iron Cross piece.
I pulled it off tonight to make a slight modification to it.
As you can see it's a rather unique looking Iron Cross.
It has some weird angles, as opposed to the traditional.
That's actually why I like it.

Anyhow....
What way is really right side up on this thing?
It's pretty hard to tell.
I'm guessing it just depends on the person and what looks good to them.

Out of curiosity,
which way looks better to you guys?
Photo #1 or photo #2?
Both look okay to me....

PHOTO 1:

PHOTO 2:

This is the way I originally mounted it:

I voted for #2... #1 looks top heavy...a solid structure such as a cross should have a wide base so as to keep it from falling over. Just my opinion though...lol

When I saw 'em my first thought was that #1 would make the ride look taller and #2 would do the opposite.

I voted #1.

Just because something looks top-heavy,
doesn't mean it's bad....

#2. When you look at framed and matted pictures, often times you'll see that the bottom portion of the mat is actually a little bit thicker. It anchors the picture. I think the same thing applies here.

and I love me some Natasha Henstrige.

These are all good points.
Haven't seen any that I disagree with.
Even the "top-heavy" stuff...lol

Next time you show a pic of something purported to be top-heavy, make sure she is truly top-heavy.

You're right...it looks like it'd be a pain in the a$$.
Not at all though.
It only takes me 30 seconds in addition to pulling the spare.

I used trailer quick disconnects for the wiring,
just simply unplug...
and it's mounted with just 1 nut to undo behind the wheel after the spare is pulled.
