I hope you know that the M/T Classic Locks are not bead lock wheels... but I like the polish with red lip - looks great. The only reason I went with a polished wheel as everything else is going to be black

Your looking for a 16 tire? You gonna have to look at metrics... something like a 285/75R16 if you want a 33x12.5x16 tire.

I will be getting those black wheels you posted in the first post. I like the look of them a lot.

Edit: Well, these are them, somewhat similar:

I like the shiny rims better than the black. When the wheels are black and the rims are black.. doesnt do it for me.. light colored rims just looks better with red body
Whats the problem with 3.5bs rims? It's only 1/4th inch difference

Yes I am aware those are only simulated beadlocks. You already told me I don't need real locks. But they have that look I want. And everything else on mine will be black also. I want something to stand out.

As far as the backspace, If I can run the 3 5/16 w/o rubbing then I would prefer the 15in rims. Can I run that backspace safely w/ 33x12.5 muds?

I only had my TJ for 6months before I lifted it... a new paint job can last quite a bit longer

I wanted to do that too, but i like the yellow too much, so I am going to make it look like a hot wheels jeep i had. Yellow with the decals in black.

Hi, Just wanted to clearify that 285/175/16 are more like a 32.8x11.3x16 than a 33x12.5x16... in other words the 285s are a lil bit shorter and at least an inch narrower than a 33x12.5

If your looking for a 33x12.5x16 equivelent in a metric size tire you need to look for 305/70/16 and even then they are still only 12.2 or so

I hope that helps

Ben

that does help, but I'm going w/ the 15in rims to avoid all confusion. AzTJ says the backspace will be fine so I'd rather have the 33x12.5x15

Most 33's arn't a true 33" anyway, and 32.8 is very close, even to a standard 33" tire. I was just giving him an example though.
