Rim Job!

I'm going to be getting my lift soon. I want your opinion on what rim would look better. I'm getting them in 15x8 and wrapping them w/ 33x12.5 BFG Mud t's. My Jeep is a red 06 X.

Any pics of red Jeeps w/ either of these rims? Not exactly the same, but same general color

Not a big fan of the "classic 8-hole" wheels... but if you like 'em, its your Jeep. Check out the Eagle Alloy series 186. Usually can find them for under $95/each.

Before I got mine I was thinking of getting American Racing AR-23's. I haven't seem many Jeeps with them.

What do you think of these? And do you think the polished or black would look best? Wost of the other parts I'm getting such as bumpers are going to be black, but the wheels I can't decide.

I went all black on everything except my wheels. I think it makes them look even better because they stand out.

I was thinking about these Rims.... Not bad for the price.
They are 16x8" and are $315 for the set and $75 for shipping all 4 of them.

These look badass! Can you please post the link? I like the red locks I think that would be really cool. Do you have any pics with a red jeep and these wheels w/ red locks?

Unfortunately the pic does them no justice. They are gloss black and do have a curve, they aren't flat.

Are those going to look good or will the black be better? I like the idea of the polished rim w/ red locks, but might it be possible to get those rims in black w/ red or polished rings?

Just trying different ideas. I feel lost as far as the wheels go anymore.

Ohh Maaan Dont get any more Ideas, it's your rig and the Who has to be happy with that Its You noone else.
So I will suggest go to any store get a couple jp and off road magazines and do your research online,What ever make you happy thats it,Here there is many different tastes, some people likes Black on Black other goes with Chrome, others polished,
5 spokes,or 8 holes it is matter of taste.
so once you deside you can make a poll between your favorite choice and that will help a lot.

Just my 2 cents
just dont get Blink Blinks hahahahaha

I think what you're trying to say is "bling-bling" I'll make a poll then. Do they make the MT's in black? I could do a custom job on them...

Oh and I need to find the MT's w/ the proper backspacing. 3.75 or 3 5/8 I think is the same.

Yeah bling bling hahah,
I thought about that too the MT are polished so you should make the shine go away or a very light sandblasting in orther to get a good surface for powder coat or any other paint, I think we are in the same boat, these wheels will be perfect in black !!

here is the link yo MT web page:

Okay that sounds awesome. Custom job to get them black w/ the red or polished lip, can't decide. but I'm still looking for the proper backspace. I can't run the 3 5/16" it'll rub.

I can't find the 15x8 w/ 3.75 backspace. So how about 16x8 w/ 4in backspace? Will these be ok to run 33x12.5 and be good off road? In mud and dirt mostly. If so then I'll get the rims and start modifying them. I'll have 4 of-a-kind rims!

As long as they perform. I can't run the wrong backspace that would be worse. How much more?

I'm looking for tires and finding it difficult. I am looking for mud terrains 33x12.5x16

I keep finding 16.5. Do these fit on a 16in rim or is that just asking for trouble?
