I'm ordering new rims and tires this weekend but I'm not sure how much backspacing I should get for the tire size I'm getting. I just ordered a 1.25' BL a 1' MML and a 2' BB and I can clear 33's now. So I'm ordering rims but what backspacing do I need with a 33x12.50 inch tire at least to not make it all messed up looking.
Thank you in advance

Stock BS is generally 5". 4.5" does not create enough clearance (a 1/2" does is not enough for an added 3" of tire width).

In my opinion, 4" BS is ideal. It creates plenty of clearance for the wider tires with a wider stance; however, the tires can still be tucked under larger flares if needed.

Some people go with a 3.75" BS, but they stick too far out IMO.

4" is the sweet spot.

You need at least 4.5" bs for 33's. Lots of guys run out to 3.75" bs to give the jeep the wider more aggressive look.
