Rims all about rims

Leigh's so I'm trying to decide on a pair of rims for my tj and I like the ion 174s because of price but here's some of the other rims I like. What do you guys think? Btw I drive a pearl green tj. So it's 1. Black Rock Tungsten 2. Black rock viper 3. Ion 174 4. AEV Pintler 5. DC 2 6. MT Sidebiter thanks for your thoughts!

I like #1 but I'm biased because I'm trying to move away from the black look.

True but i love the design and gunmetal color. Personally i think black rims are overdone on jeeps and i really dont care for them.

i too did a post a while back with your 1,2,3,6, choices as the ones i liked. the ions are priced right but i really like the black rock vipers in tungsten, but think the black rock vipers in black would look better on my black jeep. decisions decisions

Cole mine are 18" inch stock rims, I just took them off the tires, sanded it down, professionally painted them flat black, and then put a couple of clear coats, and let then dry for two days.. hope that helps

well the thing is.. i could have brought aftermarket rims, but to me every aftermarket one's i see just doesn't match the Jeep(they try to do too much to it whether be design or style). The stock rims(black) IMO looks better than any aftermarket rims out there and trust me I looked at rims(A-lot).. the stock rims width and shape compliments the wrangler better than any aftermarket ones. Just yesterday a fellow jeeper pulled up next to me and ask where did i get my rims and i said their stock and he looked surprise..

if i was to buy today i would go with the black rock vipers in black, but beat myself up later for not saving money by going with the ion alloy's. plus they have a little more character to them with the little extra polished aluminum. that way i would not end up with to much black. because i do want to shine a little bit. i just got 4 stainless steel kc dayligters i will be putting on this weekend.
