Did the TC drop eliminate all vibes? Everthing I've read shows RE and 4WP, etc, saying the SYE is an absolute must have for the RE 3.5. That's the lift I'm wanting but been staying away due to the SYE/Shaft expense. I'd be pumped if I knew I could get away with just a TC drop. More pics!
A t-case drop will do ya fine. I have a 4" Fab lift with just a T-case drop. The vibs aren't bad, and you can only feel them when stopped and in drive.

Looks good Chris. Sorry I didn't call you back last night. I was in the middle of drowning my sorrows after the chiefs lost and I wasn't answering any calls from anyone.

If the vibe is that faint I really wouldn't worry about it too much.

No prob Jack.

The vibes aren't bad at all.

I'm looking to take the Mrs. to Corpus for our honeymoon in Dec, so will it be a problem to run it like that over that distance? I'd rather get gears if I can instead of the SYE/CVDS if I don't have to. I'll get them eventually anyway because I'm losing an inch of clearance but it's one of those things, if I can wait I will.

Well there's two schools of thought on this issue. One says that any vibrations are bad and not normal on your rig. The other says the further away from stock you get the more you are going to have these little things creep in. Personally if you tell me that your wife or someone you don't know driving your jeep wouldn't notice this vibe then I say you will be fine.

You're the first person I've encountered that has gone directly from stock to the RE 3.5 so I'm looking fwd to your experience. I'm anxious to see how your slight vibes play out after things settle in over the next few miles/days. I'm guessing since I saw the new LCA's you must have gotten the Superflex?

Yes, the SuperFlex.

And I'll be ordering the rims and tires tomorrow, so I'll have them very soon.

Yup! We're rebels! Tires in a couple days, so I'm glad I went ahead and installed it yesterday.

Don't sweat the SYE, I have the same size tires you're getting, but a 4" lift and I'm fine. Slight vibe, but no one else notices.

Meaning I didn't know of your setup history, but RIP was the first I've known. Get it? Tell you what, I'll go ahead and move you above Rip on the list but you'll have an * next to your name.

I did the same thing, went from stock to 3" suspension, 1" body lift, 1" motor mount lift, New shocks, new steering stablizer, and 33" tires all in one day. This is my favorite picture from that day. Really shows the difference.

Well the tires will be in tomorrow, and I'll hit the flex ramp while I'm there. They also have a huge rock in the parking lot so I'm gonna play on it too. I'm gonna take video and use the clips to make a new video.
