RIP Sheila(my rig)

2 weeks ago today my girl got totalled. I was driving about 20 mph and hit a small bump which caused the right front control arm to snap off the axle at the flange. The tire tucked up and bent the fender, when this happened I must have losened the ground. I backed up about T feet to pull the tire forward and get a look at what happened because it was dark and I couldn't see the damage yet. When I pulled back, the ground under my right side tires gave way and I slid down an embankment. It happened fast, and damaged the back right corner, and back right roll bar severely. The front axle was done, the right fender too, and the left control arm flange was cracked in half as well. The transfer case lever was disconnected, and it was only halfway in 2wd. The next day with some help from a cousin I was able to back it up a ways and drive it out and up onto a trailer with 1 control arm and 1 spring up front. Unfortunately the insurance totalled my girl after sending it to the shop. =(

I'm so sorry about Sheila, but I'm glad that you are okay. Hopefully you will get enough from the insurance company to pick up another Jeep.

Luckily everyone was ok, just bruises. unfortunately I need a car asap, so I can't afford to buy her back, but I do have another rig lined up thats got a bigger engine, low miles, and a good lift on her. With lockers and gears already. I can post some pics up of Sheila
