Rock Crowler Bumpers

Returning from the sand box, I bought a lot of new add-ons for my 2006 unlimited 4.0. I got the Rugged Ridge Rock Crawler front bumper and looking at the rear bumper I am adding a 2inch lift with Wrangler All Terrain 31x10.5 tires. Question is I don’t do a lot of off trail riding mostly my daily runner. Do I need to go with the rear bumper w/tire mount or can I can I stay with the tailgate mount, also you opinion on rugged ridge bumpers. Will put pics of my jeep when I start.this is not my Jeep just the bumpers i want to go with.
thanks

I think that that I had 31" tires on mine when I bought it. The spare was on the tail gate, so I don't think there should be a problem. I have my 35" x12.5 MT MTZ spare on the tail gate now. I just created a bracket to raise it up a little. The weight of it is soon going to over take the door (about 110#). I am going to do some modifications to my Warn bumper soon though. You should be fine with the weight and size of yours. Meaning it should clear the bumper.
