Rock krawler install and review

Well after a lengthy weekend of turning wrenches some beer and some swearing I got my new lift on. I have a 2006 rubicon and installed a 3.5 inch RK x factor lift with OME shocks, a tom woods shaft and 33x12.5x15 duratracs on unique 297 rims. Since the lift didnt come with bump stopsAs i added 2 inches front and rear, from rough measurements this should work but I'll found out for sure once i get offroad. I got some mild vibrations at first, but i turned my rear uppers out 6 more turns and things seem to be good right now. The ride is still a bit rough but much much better then stock. Takes potholes better then stock and corners tighter.

And pics

comments and questions welcome

Love the stance and the subdued look.

And is this the kit with the triangulated 4 link rear?

How is the construction of the lift? Does it leaving you wanting to upgrade some of its components?

no this kit still keeps the 5 link in the rear, replaces the control arms and relocates rear track bar.
Also if have read reviews they say this kit is beefy, that is not a lie. The arms are completely solid and the bushings are huge.

As far as upgrading, I would have preferred a new rear track bar instead of just a bracket, also i would have liked them to include bumpstops, but they don't know what size tires or shocks the customer is using so i dont blame them.

From what Ive heard the RK components are very "stout"...very tough built stuff.

I wouldn't be looking at this paricular lift cuz the wife really wants a xk.so when we get her xk it will get a lift so I have been researching the few companies that make xk lifts and so its between rustys and rk. So thank you for your input

Edit: I said the word "so" way too much haha

Nice lift. I can't decide between the RK and Currie lift kit. I heard RK's are a bit heavy, but a well build lift. What do you think?
