Arrow Rock Krawler TJ Rear Stretch :wavey:!

I'm requiring info on the RK rear stretch kit please.

I know someone here can give poor little ol' me the skinny on upgrading my RK to a stretch. Right?

I just web-wheeled some and found a thread on some goofy AZ Jeep forum () that answered some of my questions. One thing that I didn't find an answer to is what to do with the gas tank? Is moving it to the cargo area the only option?

again? When was the last time?

You can mount your tank to your hood. You can mount it anywhere you'd like. Hell, mount it in the kitchen sink. Just might have to extend your fuel lines a couple feet.

Well the kitchen sink isn't too far from where it's mounted right now.

Getting a fuel cell for the rear or the GenRight tank will fit(I think)... I know Jack has moved his tank to in the tub, and I donno what Lance(yellow TJ) did for his.

just on a side note, the tank inside the tub will get annoying. The fuel pump whine gets old especially when you go to a high flow pump.

Scout - you remember your rig on Joe's fork lift right? Check out the stretch...

For reference, the guy is 5' 7" tall...

I think the Genright is still the only option for doing it without moving the cell to the tub.

Picked one up recently and it'll let me put my 14 bolt 6" back from the current axle's position.

Costly, yes, but nice...

Scout, here's how mine turned out and yes I did move my tank into the tub. I'll get a cell at some point in time this year, but right now it's fine. I know I will never have passengers in the back of that thing so it didn't bother me at all. I smell no gas fumes and contrary to what someone else said you really don't hear the fuel pump. Tony at Genright and Jeremy at Rock Krawler work very closely together on certain things. Since Jeremy has taken over at RK he's always tried to put the most complete setups on the market. However I will say that my stretch put my wheelbase at 104 and that was not moving the front at all. I could get more out of it if I wanted to but I think it's going to be perfect right now on 37's. The stretch and the stretch upgrade are not currently available on the market. There have been a couple builder parts sent out to others, and then there are Lance and I's that have been done. RK is very close to having their full kits ready for the market, but not quite yet.

Oh, and AZ if full of shiat. Lance is more like 5"3' at the most.

Nope, not til Friday night or Saturday. It'll take some seat time to get myself back to where I was before the stretch. A lot of lines are going to be taken differently now. But it was stable as a mofo on the fork lift. It is going to work well.

Oh yeah. There are a couple of waterfalls that i've had to winch up every single time no matter how much throttle I used. I'm going to be revisiting those tomorrow.
