Time to check in. I just bought myself a set of rock sliders made by Brook's Custom Concepts (HERE) since they were 20% off till today and added: a third mount underneath, a third support for the tube, countersunk hardware and holes, internal tub reinforcement plate, upgraded the tube to 1 5/8" DOM with .188" wall, and went wheel well to wheel well. I can't wait to get em! They look beefy enough that's for sure.

Good purchase. I certainly enjoy my BCC rock sliders! Putting them on was a fun project too, what with removing the flares and trimming them to fit the contours and all. I've got the talking my son into getting some for his TJ this summer. The hard part is already done though on his as we took his flare off last fall to paint.

I am going to get some but am leery about how they mount on a Sahara with all the extra plastic stuff.

You gotta take off that extra trim it looks like and you can get them an inch taller to cover where the plastic stuff was.

yet another update

I finally got these rock sliders on. I used some rustoleum bedliner and sprayed on a couple of coats to finish them then had a buddy help me put them on. Here they are! Ignore the dark spots in the bedliner, its where I touched up the bolts and its not quite dry yet

I just made some for my own Sahara. Be warned there is a mess under there. Clear coat is bad sometimes. Lots of grime. And holes. But it can be cleared up. I'll show some pics soon on my build thread. I can actually show you my jeep now without the trim.

Is anyone running these? I have only seen them on gr8tops site. I can't quite make out the name. I just installed something similar on my truck and would like to find something like this for my TJ. The last pic is of my truck and the look I'm going for. These other small pics of the green Jeep are the only pics I have seen with this slider however this is my 3rd week of Jeep ownership.

Are you going to leave them flat or add a tube?

I think flat for now, they just look so clean now. I think I'm gona try and keep my jeep as narrow as possible. Also I don't have a bender so I have to mess around with going and getting them bent and fitted and stuff. I may order a kit like Btf has one and a few others for 50 bucks. I can prob do that this summer. And I'll leave them flat for Rausch. Now I need to worry about getting that Aussie installed.
