Rock sliders

Ok I made a new local jeep friend and he wants me to help install some rock sliders he had fabbed up. I said I would. Ive swapped axles on my jeep as well as installed 2 different lifts as far as mechanical abilities go. Seems like a straight forward job remove body mount bolts on one side. Jack up enough to slide rocker in between body and mount and align holes/ reinstall bolts. Repeat for other side. Any input on weather I'm on the right page or tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm a far cry from a expert, but i think a lot will depend on how they were made since you indicated that he either had someone make them or did it him self. Are they true sliders that bolt on underneath, or is it just a strip of diamond plate that is going to go along the rocker?

Which ever it happens to be, i don't think you will have much issue, should be pretty straight forward either way. Biggest problem will be rusted hard ware if they attach under the jeep.

"The Jeep is a manly device. And a womanly device. An American device. It’s a fitting instrument to transport the free people of a free nation with the respect to which we are entitled and the dignity that we deserve. Okay, we’re a little crazy to have a Jeep for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius"-P.J.O'rourke

They were custom made for him by taboo customs I guess and they're a slider that bolts under and has the tubing welded to the length of it

Also how are the body mount bolts set up? Is there a nut I have to catch on the back of it or does the nut just thread into the body or something?
