I need a trac bar. I don't really want to spend $200.00. Any Idea's also I have beated the grap out my running boards now they rattle to much. Which ones connect to the frame? Are they stronger?

What does a trac bar have to do with running boards?

I bought my JKS as part of my lift used.... they can be found for $75-100 used on most other forums.

the rocker guards.. I would not get hte body mounted once as they stil don't protect your tub from side hits if you play in the rocks. I got the PSC Rocker Knockers and love them (they bolt through the tub and tie in with the body mounts below. HOnestly most of the manufacturers are pretty much the same when it comes to that stype rocker guard, however.

There are a couple that make well to well coverage instead of fender to fender... but they're a good 25-30% premium in price.

don't you mean you wouldn't get the frame mounted ones? because the ones that mount to the rocker are body mounted.

yes frame mounted ones (the ones that tie into the body mounts on the frame only) are crap IMHO. Get something that bolts through your body with good underside coverage and ties iinto the body mounts for added strength... ESPECIALLY if you're running a side step / slider bar.

Check out the Jeeperman sliders as they clam the frame much like a side step and are not very big, no taller than the frame.
