Rocker guards question

So what was are better the ones that you bolt on to the body or the ones that bolt on to the frame?

The body mounted ones are typically stronger and they also allow for more ground clearance versus the frame mounted ones. But you've gotten be willing to drill into the body to put the body mounted ones on. (Not trying to offend you but some people don't think about that and aren't ready to drill into the body tub yet)

Like the other guy said be prepared to drill holes for body mounted sliders. Mine required like 21 holes per side. It's really no big deal though.

Best tip I've heard for the body mounted ones is don't over tighten the bolts so you don't bend the body tub (but i've never personally installed these, just what I've read on the forum while I was considering rock sliders)

If you preload the rocker hard against the body correctly you don't have to worry about sucking the tub in (or out I guess).
